Ben and Karissa began dating in the Summer of 2022. Their paths crossed at The Moose (a pool hall) on Sherman Ave. in downtown Coeur d' Alene, ID. Karissa met Ben through a mutual friend and they quickly realized they were two peas in a pod.

Ben grew up in the small town of Kellogg, ID, just east of CDA while Karissa spent most of her life as a city girl on the outskirts of Portland, OR. Ben helped Karissa come out of her comfort zone by taking her on countless adventures. In fact, their first date was spent dirt biking. Although Karissa enjoyed it, she preferred the huge steak he cooked for her afterwards. They went on many adventures together, from snowboarding on Silver Mountain, to surfing in Mexico.

As their love story progressed, Ben and Karissa spoke more and more about marriage and when they realized they they were going on the greatest adventure of all ,which was to become parents, they got married at the CDA Courthouse on February 2nd, 2023. They gave birth to their darling baby girl Charlotte Joan on September 4th, 2023. They can't wait to have an actual wedding ceremony with friends and family on July 6th to celebrate their marriage and the creation of their beautiful family!
